Happy Lantern Festival
The 15th day of the first lunar month is the traditional Lantern Festival (Yuanxiao Festival in Chinese). it marks the appearance of the first full moon at night.
In the early days, young people were chaperoned in the streets in hopes of finding love. Matchmakers acted busily in hopes of pairing couples. The brightest lanterns were symbolic of good luck and hope. As time has passed, the festival no longer has such implications in most of Mainland China, Taiwan, or Hong Kong.
On the Lantern Festival, our company prepared yuanxiao to us.
The Chinese people hope that everything is satisfactory (yuanman in Chinese), and to eat yuanxiao on the first night with a full moon in a year is to wish that family members will remain united. harmonious, happy and satisfied.
